About The Position

As a Retail Selling Colleague at Macy’s, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. Through product knowledge, customer engagement, and smart selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and encourage customer loyalty. You also help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space. Colleagues prepare for each day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top-selling items, and staying current on trends and promotions. During the day, they engage customers in friendly, personal conversations; recover the sales floor and fitting rooms; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves. They share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere farewell. The role calls for teamwork, dependable attendance, adaptability, and a focus on improving individual and store results. This is a seasonal position at the Temecula Promenade.
