About The Position

The Belleville Senators are seeking an energetic, confident and customer service-oriented Retail Sales Associate. In this role you will be responsible for greeting our customers, answering any questions about our products, and helping customers with purchases. The ideal candidate(s) must have excellent interpersonal skills while being able to achieve sale goals and also respecting the needs of our customers. The candidate must also be able to work well under retail pressures. The successful candidate(s) will be asked to be trained in sharpening and profiling skates to specifications. This is a part-time role based upon the organization’s needs which can include weekday, evening, and weekends shifts.

Responsibilities

Actively engage with customers while in the store
Aid customers with questions regarding products and services
Assist with inventory management as needed
Understand retail operation concepts and procedures
Advertise current sales and promotions to customers
Maintain a clean and professional storefront
Provide skate sharpening services (training will be provided)
Ensure store and equipment area is kept tidy
Working in compliance with the provisions of the OHSA regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Using or wearing protective equipment, devices or clothing when required.
Reporting any missing or defective equipment or protective device which could endanger themself or another team member.
Reporting any contravention of the OHSA regulations or Senators Sports & Entertainment policies and procedures.
