About The Position

Batteries Plus Bulbs of Idaho Falls, ID is seeking to hire a full-time Retail Sales Associate / Device Repair Technician to provide exceptional customer service while making sales and repairing our customers' devices. Our store is open 7 days a week so our Retail Sales Associates / Device Repair Technicians enjoy a rotating schedule. This position pays a starting wage of $12-$14/hour based on experience. Our Retail Sales Associate / Device Repair Technician can also plan on excellent benefits including dental, vision, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) plan with a match as well as extensive training, bonus plans, and an employee discount. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail and/or customer service experience including cash handling.
  • Basic understanding of electronics.
  • Ability to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inform, teach, and train.
  • Team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous device repair experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Make sales.
  • Repair customers' devices (cell phones, tablets, etc.).
  • Test, install, and replace batteries in vehicles, watches, key fobs, cell phones, and more.
  • Assist commercial and retail customers with light bulb purchases.
  • Keep the store clean and organized.
  • Maintain inventory.
