Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service
About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service role supports clients at an independently owned Elements Massage studio. The associate follows an established sales process to sell the monthly Elements Wellness Program, build customer loyalty, and deliver attentive customer service to new, established, and prospective clients. The role involves listening to clients, responding constructively to criticism, and creating a positive client experience and work environment. Pay is $15–$16 per hour depending on experience. Team members earn commission on wellness plan sales and may earn additional bonuses based on monthly conversion numbers, with opportunities to earn $200 or more in additional bonuses. Scheduling and payments are processed using computer programs that are described as easy to learn.
Requirements
- Ability to follow the sales process and sell wellness plans.
- Enjoy talking with clients and, especially, listening to them.
- Familiarity with modern office tools and systems, or ability to learn scheduling and payment computer programs.
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail sales experience, especially in-person sales of memberships or services to potential clients.
- Customer service experience in a spa-like or similar environment, with attention, hospitality, and effective execution.
