About The Position

Brilliant Earth is hiring a Jewelry Stylist to provide an exceptional experience for customers at its West Loop showroom in Chicago. The role assists customers in selecting jewelry from the luxury product line, supports them through purchasing decisions, and delivers personalized service while working toward individual and team sales targets. The position is in-person and offers a full-time schedule that includes weekend days. In addition to in-showroom sales, the Jewelry Stylist responds to online inquiries through live chat and phone, manages sales leads and appointments, conducts post-sale appointments, and develops knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry. The role also helps maintain the showroom, coordinate facilities needs, manage product shipments and inventory, enforce waiting-room policies, and open or close the showroom. Jewelry Stylists serve as brand advocates for Brilliant Earth's mission to cultivate a more transparent, sustainable, compassionate, and inclusive jewelry industry.

Responsibilities

Use sales strategies and problem-solving to guide customers through purchasing decisions, including ring settings and diamond options.
Greet, check in, and assist customers throughout the purchasing process, providing personalized service consistent with the luxury brand.
Guide customers toward purchases and create memorable customer experiences.
Manage incoming sales leads to achieve individual and team goals and revenue targets.
Respond to online customer inquiries and provide sales assistance through live chat and phone calls.
Develop and demonstrate product knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry.
Conduct post-sale appointments for pickups, exchanges, resizing, and other inquiries.
Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer pre-appointment questions.
Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews and work with leaders to improve customer experience and sales performance.
Use the ERP system to manage tasks and communicate cross-functionally.
Act as a brand advocate by sharing the company's mission.
Maintain showroom appearance, cleanliness, and organization, including implementing product merchandising guidelines.
Coordinate facilities maintenance projects for the location, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs as needed.
Send and receive products from the distribution center, customers, and external vendors; reconcile inventory in the computer system and maintain organization.
Enforce waiting-room policies to support a safe, pleasant guest experience and product security.
Open and/or close the showroom and waiting area.
