Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Baybrook
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You help keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready. You offer friendly, approachable service and support the team in achieving sales goals through consistent, high-quality customer service. The role includes preparing the sales floor, staying informed about goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and helping customers with warm, personal interactions. Throughout the day, you recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. You share loyalty-program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and communities. Colleagues are expected to take pride in their work, pursue improvement, achieve sales goals, and learn from one another. Colleagues must have flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. The position involves frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
Requirements
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently, and effective in a team.
- Be comfortable handling electronic devices.
- Be able to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
