Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Green Acres
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you help create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and keeping the sales floor customer-ready. You foster a warm environment that encourages customers to return and support your team in achieving sales goals through consistent, high-quality service. Colleagues prepare for each day by reviewing goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and organized. They welcome customers and create friendly, personal interactions; recover the sales floor and fitting rooms; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves. They share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and the community. They take pride in their work, pursue continuous improvement, and contribute to individual and store results. This role requires talking, lifting, frequent movement, standing, and reaching. It includes standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level. The role also requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment, along with frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently, and effective in a team.
- Be comfortable using electronic devices.
