About The Position

The Retail Regional Manager oversees all ParkerStore’s, ParkerStore Managers, PakerStore Support Specialist, and Regional Support Specialist in designated region. This is a full-time salary position, M – F. Maintaining the Retail Business Unit Quality Standards: Safety, Responsiveness, Knowledgeable, Accuracy, and Engaging, across all ParkerStores at all times. Directly supervises ParkerStore Managers and ParkerStore Support Specialists in their specific Region. They will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provides on-going training and adequately prepares and develops store personnel for current roles and potential promotions in future. Schedules all regional ParkerStore personnel to cover vacations and personal days while still maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction in each location. Promotes regional ParkerStores’ growth through sales calls of current and potential customers. Assists Retail Business Unit Manager with introduction of new promotions. Responsible for the overall profitability of assigned stores. Helps develop forecasts and budgets and ensures that they are followed. Develops personal relationships with ParkerStore customers. Other duties as assigned. When providing coverage in a ParkerStore, the RRM will: Identify and fulfill customer product and/or service requirements Fabricate custom hose assemblies. Coordinate pick-up transactions and locates and pulls orders as required. Perform data entry related to all areas of ParkerStore operations; proficient in Prophet 21. Handle all material management functions in store including ordering, transferring, stock receipts and item put-away. Be responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels and performing daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Maintain showroom appearance, assists in creating new displays and implementing related marketing programs. Maintain balance of cash drawer and prepares receipts for bank deposit; properly executes credit card procedures. Be responsible for opening and closing the store and all functions associated with it. Be required to perform after-hours emergency service for customers, when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Basic keyboarding experience and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Proficient in Prophet 21.
