About The Position

JLL is seeking a Retail Property Manager to join their growing Retail Open Air Property Management Team in the Orlando area. This position can be remote, but preference is given to candidates living within an hour of Orlando. The role involves direct management oversight of assigned retail properties to maximize asset value for JLL clients. Key responsibilities include property management, operations, maintenance, client and tenant relations, supporting the leasing team, marketing, collections, annual budgeting, risk management, and financial reporting. The position also involves sourcing relationships to develop new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • College graduate preferred.
  • FL Real Estate License required within 90 days.
  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in commercial property management, with multiple property responsibilities in Retail preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of financial aspects of property performance.
  • Competency using Microsoft Office, navigating the internet, general use of personal computer.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, articulate, and implement business plans for each assigned property, consistent with owners' needs and objectives to maximize asset value and NOI.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly financial and management reporting as required by client.
  • Oversee contractors and maintenance personnel at properties to ensure proper maintenance.
  • Build relationships to retain current business, expand opportunities with existing clients, and pursue additional clients and business opportunities.
  • Understand the leasing process and effectively support the broker/agency leasing team.
  • Project and achieve budgeted financial goals while adding value to the property(s) through prudent management and business decisions.
