About The Position

This position aims to provide a practical setting for students to apply their knowledge and skills under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, preparing them for their future careers in the pharmacy profession.

• Age – 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Discuss goals and objectives with Coach, ask questions, research information, and be willing to undertake a variety of tasks.
• Understand the policies and procedures of the pharmacy site.
• Familiarize yourself with program activities and learning objectives.
• Integrate activities with job-related responsibilities.
• Meet regularly with Coach to obtain feedback.
• Assume responsibility for your own learning.
• Complete program activities such as OTC scenarios, topic of the week, project of the month, follow ups, patient consultations, clinics, and community outreach.
• Meet program expectations and deadlines, including completing the Studentship Planning Guide (if applicable) and evaluations with the coach (mid-point and final).
