About The Position
This position is designed to allow a student to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical setting under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, helping to prepare them for their career in the pharmacy profession.
Requirements
- Age – 16 or older
Responsibilities
- Discuss goals and objectives with Coach, ask questions, research information, and be willing to undertake a variety of tasks.
- Understand the policies and procedures of the pharmacy site.
- Familiarize yourselves with program activities and learning objectives.
- Integrate activities with job-related responsibilities.
- Meet regularly with Coach to obtain feedback.
- Assume responsibility for your own learning.
- Participate in clinical services and counselling on OTC and prescription medications, as delegated by the registered pharmacist.
- Integrate into the dispensary workflow.
