About The Position

This position is designed to allow students to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical setting under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, helping to prepare them for their career in the pharmacy profession.

Responsibilities

• Discuss goals and objectives with your Coach, ask questions, research information, and be willing to undertake a variety of tasks.
• Understand the policies and procedures of the pharmacy site.
• Familiarize yourselves with program activities and learning objectives.
• Integrate activities with job-related responsibilities.
• Meet regularly with your Coach to obtain feedback.
• Assume responsibility for your own learning.
• Complete program activities if applicable: OTC scenarios, topic of the week, project of the month, follow ups, pt. consultations, clinics, community outreach.
• Meet program expectations and deadlines (complete Studentship Planning Guide if applicable, evaluations with your coach (mid-point and final)).
