About The Position
The Retail Pharmacy Specialist delivers prescriptions to patient rooms, and rounds with patients to promote the Meds to Beds Program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to work with Medical Center personnel, patients, and families in explaining Meds to Bed program and providing good customer service.
- Strong computer and typing skills in order to input data on medications and patient prescriptions, and process payments at the bedside utilizing mobile checkout units.
Nice To Haves
- 1 month of work experience in retail pharmacy
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology.
Responsibilities
