About The Position

Work Schedule : Day/Evening Shifts. Hours vary 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Saturdays may be required on a rotation 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay : Additional components of compensation may include: Evening and night shift differential Weekend differential Be part of something remarkable Reimagining health care – working in our new state-of-the-art facility on Madison’s east side – you will help transform the patient experience. We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to: Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, and compliance; provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records. Adapt to a changing environment, demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude to complete any work within the scope of the role. Be a strong team player, highly detail-oriented, and a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment. The ideal candidate will have sterile compounding or hazardous drug compounding experience. Experience performing in a fast-paced and high volume environment preferred.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school.
  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician
