Retail Pharmacy Billing Representative
About The Position
MercyOne is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Tech to join their team. This role involves working as part of a team to complete accurate insurance/client/customer billing and collections. The individual will serve as a resource for all Retail Pharmacy reimbursement, billing, regulatory, and compliance issues, including Long Term Care, Hospice, Skilled, Retail, Medicare, and 340B. The position also involves assisting the Director of Finance with Retail Pharmacy business functions and collaborating with the Director of Pharmacy and Retail Pharmacy staff to achieve operational indicators.
Requirements
- High school (or equivalent) graduate
- Retail or Long-Term Care or Medicare B Pharmacy billing experience preferred
- Knowledge of electronic billing systems and PC applications preferred
- Possess a beginner to intermediate level understanding of Excel
- Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 5 years thereafter
