About The Position

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center (SCHHC) is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join their healthcare team in Bandon, Oregon. SCHHC is a critical access hospital serving the southern Oregon coast, providing a broad range of healthcare services. The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for verifying and filling medication orders, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information, identifying and troubleshooting medication safety concerns, documenting interactions for medical review, and supervising and directing support staff. This role contributes to patient well-being by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Requirements

Graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy
A pharmacist license in the state of Oregon
Registered Pharmacist (RPh)
All licensure and certifications necessary to perform duties as a Pharmacist in Oregon
Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication
Computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and online software
U.S. Citizenship or proper authorization to work in the United States
