About The Position
A rural community healthcare facility located east of Fort Morgan, Colorado is seeking a Retail Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team! This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position with a day shift, Monday through Friday schedule. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and up to 6 months of discounted housing. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
Requirements
- Active Colorado Pharmacist license required
- Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and medication management
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Supervise pharmacy staff, including Pharmacy Technicians and Billing Clerks
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and proper storage
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ensure medications are stored according to regulatory standards
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
