About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking experienced Retail Pharmacists for a full-time assignment in Klamath Falls, OR. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists looking for consistent hours in a well-supported retail pharmacy environment. The assignment is expected to continue through approximately December, with 40 hours per week and 4-day workweeks. Training will be provided based on experience.
Requirements
- Active Oregon Pharmacist license in good standing
- 1+ years of retail pharmacy experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy retail pharmacy environment
Nice To Haves
- EnterpriseRx experience preferred but not required
- ScriptPro experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform daily retail pharmacy operations
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide medication counseling and patient education
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and clerical support staff
- Support efficient prescription filling and dispensing workflows
- Assist with medication inventory and pharmacy operations
- Administer vaccinations when trained and qualified
- Maintain compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and safety standards
