About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for an independent pharmacy opportunity in Orofino, ID. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys community pharmacy practice and is looking to make an immediate impact with a highly respected local pharmacy team. The pharmacy is seeking assistance as soon as possible due to an unexpected staffing shortage. Additional coverage will also be needed during the week of August 3rd, with August 5th–7th being the highest-priority dates.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist License in good standing
- Retail pharmacy experience required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PioneerRx preferred
Responsibilities
- Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate medication dispensing
- Provide patient counseling and medication education
- Support daily pharmacy operations and workflow
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to deliver excellent patient care
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
