About The Position

The Delaware Retail Operations Manager manages the day-to-day activities and business levels of racinos and retailers in Delaware. Reporting to the Senior Director of East Coast Operations, this role acts as the link between Caesars, SG, the Delaware Lottery, and other partners in Delaware. The manager provides outstanding service and seeks opportunities to maximize handle and win, profitability, and promotion of retail operations.

The position calls for leadership of multi-site teams, strong customer service, commercial awareness, sound planning and decision-making, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role may involve exposure to a smoke-filled environment and requires the ability to stand, write, lift, pull or push up to 25 pounds, and twist, bend, or reach without significant boundaries.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Gaming Control Board and other jurisdictions if deemed necessary.
• Must adhere to company and Gaming Control Board compliance requirements.
• Must obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN).
• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a retail environment.
• Casino or gaming experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle large volumes of cash.
• Ability to motivate, lead, and mentor staff members.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; self-starter with initiative.
• Commitment to delivering an elevated level of customer service.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, write for extended periods, lift, pull, or push 25 pounds, and twist, bend, or reach with no significant boundaries.

Nice To Haves

• Multi-property management experience in a retail environment is a major plus.
• Prior sportsbook work experience is highly preferred.
