About The Position

Guitar Center’s Retail Operations Associate supports store operations by handling shipping and receiving, inventory-related tasks, daily administrative duties, and merchandising products to improve the customer experience. The role calls for collaboration, customer focus, initiative, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and use retail technology and systems. Work takes place in a loud environment for 5–8 hours, and the associate must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings and lift up to 40 pounds.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to inventory control.
• Ship and receive gear and other items.
• Prepare and execute inventory cycle counts.
• Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
• Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
• Handle cash.
• Maintain awareness of and help control shrink.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
