The Retail Merchandising Support Associate, also known as a Merchandising or Front of House Colleague, helps deliver a seamless and welcoming in-store experience. The role involves executing merchandise movement and placement strategies, improving the visual appeal of the sales floor, maintaining organized and shoppable displays, and keeping pricing and promotional signage accurate and current. The associate also greets customers, listens to their needs, provides assistance and product guidance, and collaborates with colleagues across departments to support sales and customer service. Daily work may include updating mannequins, resetting floor layouts, aligning merchandise presentation with company directives, recovering the sales floor and fitting rooms, replenishing merchandise, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. Associates help customers with purchases, share loyalty program benefits, seek opportunities to open credit accounts, and contribute to daily sales goals. They also help reorganize and restock departments and prepare the space for the next business day. The position requires regular attendance and punctuality, flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to perform the stated physical and technology-related job functions. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week; schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
