Retail Merchandiser (Flexible, Project-Based Work) Ogdensburg, NY
About The Position
SRS (Strategic Retail Solutions) is seeking Merchandisers who are the heart and soul of our company. Our Merchandisers are well-rounded and have experience in all phases of merchandising, including audits, building racks and displays, resets (both shelf and pegboard work), pull & plugs, POP/POS placement & planogram implementation and maintenance. They use their friendly, outgoing personalities to build strong store relationships while meeting the needs of our clients. This is project-based work, often consisting of jobs that take 1 hour to complete, with the exception of resets or other jobs that require more time in the store. This should NOT be considered full-time or part-time work, but rather gig work. Work may not always be readily available in your immediate area.
Requirements
- Must have an Android or iPhone, internet access and know how to access Google from your phone
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Planograms: 1 year- You must understand how to read and implement planograms.
- Merchandising: 1 year
- Resets: 1 year
- Speak and read English
- Must have access to a printer when needed
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid, NON- expired Driver's License required
- Able to travel within the assigned region (up to 15 miles)
- 1+ years of retail merchandising or reset experience
- Ability to read and execute planograms
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Smartphone with data plan for mobile reporting
- Strong attention to detail
