About The Position

ESCO, a division of Eurpac Service, Inc., is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser/Base Manager for the Pearl Harbor, Hawaii commissary. The role supports consumer packaged goods sales and merchandising in military commissaries, with responsibilities and assignments varying by location and operational needs. Comprehensive training will be provided for the specific role, and flexibility is essential to assist with or cover additional roles as needed. The position requires access to a military base, which is granted by the military, as well as passing a background check. Existing base access is highly preferred. Candidates need access to a computer, printer, and smartphone and must be able to download information from websites. Work schedules may fluctuate based on client and customer needs. The role pays $17–$19 per hour for 35 hours per week. Employees must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening. Requirements

Military base access is required, and candidates must pass a background check; access is granted by the military, not EURPAC.
Access to a computer, printer, and smartphone, and ability to download information from websites.
Ability to assemble, install, and relocate racks weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance from team members as needed.
Ability to build displays using cases weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to work in freezer conditions at 0°F.
Flexibility to assist with or cover additional roles as operational needs arise.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Perform daily tasks assigned through EAGLE Eye, Retail IQ, the Area Manager, or the Area Supervisor at designated commissary locations.
Maintain current product distribution and expand distribution of new items, aiming to meet the 30-day speed-to-shelf objective.
Collaborate with the Computer Assisted Ordering Associate to manage shelf maximums for all SKUs.
Proactively stock shelves when products are out of stock and backstock is available, or when independent contractors do not meet stocking expectations.
Secure and sell display activity, build displays as needed, and secure product demonstrations and order cases to support those events.
Manage shelf facings, resets, signs, out-of-stock items, pricing, coupons, and shelf tags.
Process Vendor Credit Memos and Vendor Price Reduction Agreements in a timely manner.
Maintain store call frequency aligned with the availability of key store personnel and promptly communicate store issues to the Area Manager.
Check product code dates regularly and ensure proper product rotation.
Manage balanced weekly orders for Direct Store Delivery and Direct Store Delivery-Single Order accounts, as applicable to the assigned role.
Use EAGLE Eye and Retail IQ tools and report in-store conditions through company technology and systems, including out-of-stock scans, display performance, demonstration bookings, new-item distribution, and gaps.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with store personnel and company management.
Complete additional assignments and special projects as directed by the Area Manager.
Support merchandising activities that may include promotional execution, display opportunities, seasonal promotions, coupon and sign management, vendor credits and price reductions, shrink reduction, inventory management, front-end management, product demonstrations, and resets.
As assigned, travel for store resets lasting one to five days, including overnight stays; assist with occasional outside case-lot sales and weekend special events.
