About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Merchandiser to stock and rotate products, set up displays, stock and rotate coolers, organize backrooms, and move products from the backroom to the sales floor. The role also accurately orders product for the next delivery. The schedule is Friday through Monday on first shift.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is highly preferred; three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to perform basic financial calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
• Customer-oriented and focused.

Responsibilities

• Fill and merchandise coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
• Sell and execute promotions.
• Create and use point-of-sale signage.
• Develop good customer relations and service customers as scheduled.
• Order product and/or run invoices.
• Clean equipment, keep backroom storage orderly, and rotate stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
