About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Merchandiser to stock and rotate products, set up displays, stock and rotate coolers, organize backrooms, move products from the backroom to the sales floor, and accurately order product for the next delivery. The position works Friday through Monday on the first shift. Team members are expected to demonstrate integrity, teamwork, accountability, adaptability, and communication.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to perform basic financial calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Must meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Must be able to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
• Must be customer-oriented and focused.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or GED is highly preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Fill and merchandise coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors according to PBV standards.
• Sell and execute promotions.
• Create and use point-of-sale signage.
• Develop good customer relations.
• Service customers as scheduled.
• Order product and/or run invoices.
• Clean equipment, keep backroom storage orderly, and rotate stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
