About The Position

Kalan, a third-generation consumer products company, is seeking energetic, detail-oriented Retail Merchandisers to maintain product displays in assigned retail locations. This independent contractor role involves short assignments, usually two visits per month, with visits increasing to weekly during the holiday season. The position offers a flat rate per visit and flexible scheduling, and is performed in person at assigned stores. Merchandisers must complete product merchandising and display work within five days of shipment arrival, follow a planogram, remove damaged or discontinued items, photograph completed work with date stamps, upload the photos through the reporting system, and email an invoice after each visit. Candidates should be dependable and professional, able to work independently, and comfortable using a smartphone or tablet with internet access.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Reliable, professional, and punctual, with the ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet with internet access for reporting.
Able to follow written instructions and communicate via email or phone.
Able to regularly lift 40 pounds, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.
Must be able to stand for several hours at a time.

Nice To Haves

Merchandising or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
