About The Position

The Retail Merchandise Key Coordinator is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. The role primarily performs Coordinator duties and occasionally acts as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. Key Carriers must have open availability, including nights and weekends, and role-model exceptional customer service. The position is at Sierra Store 0259 in Lakewood, Washington. Starting pay is $19.13 to $19.63 per hour; the full pay range is $19.13 to $30.40 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.

Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
At least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Create a positive internal and external customer experience.
Promote honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Act as Manager on Duty in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Ensure the store team performs tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Address immediate customer service issues and provide appropriate coaching to Associates.
Use discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers.
Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas to support a positive customer experience.
Ensure Associates follow operational procedures.
Ensure opening and closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines.
Communicate effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provide progress updates.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
