Temporary Retail Merchandise Associate
About The Position
The Retail Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and following customer experience principles. The role maintains a clean, organized, and safe store environment; follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates uphold a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback. The position is temporary and located at Sierra Store 0207 in Warren, Ohio. Starting pay is $13.50 to $14.00 per hour, with actual starting pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and modeling established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
