This individual will work with internal partners (creative, business, and sales teams) and McCormick's media agencies to aid in the development and execution of retail search marketing plans that enable the achievement of our business and financial objectives. The candidate will be a pivotal part of the Media Optimization & Analytics team with strong analytical and operational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with retail media, preferably at an agency or in a CPG related field
  • Working knowledge of Retail Media platforms like Instacart Ads, Walmart Ads, Amazon Ads, Criteo preferred
  • Basic understanding of digital media, CPG industry, and competitive landscape
  • Experience leading projects including proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and diplomatically
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to navigate complex / new situations
  • Ability to work cooperatively with internal and external partners – including outside media agencies, creative, delivery teams, business team, and field sales team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Superior analytical and organizational skills required.
  • Technical expertise including excellent knowledge of MS Office programs (Power Point, Excel, Word)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in quantitative field or MBA
  • Deep expertise in retail search platforms (Amazon, Walmart Connect, Kroger Precision, etc.)
  • CPG or Agency background preferred
  • Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable insights through storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Own Retail Search strategy across North America as the core conversion lever within the full-funnel planning.
  • Lead agency and platform partners to execute keyword strategy, bidding guardrails, and budget allocation frameworks.
  • Shape retail search budget planning across brands and retailers.
  • Align activation to brand objectives, key drive periods, and retailer priorities.
  • Partner cross-functionally to establish standardized search KPI frameworks.
  • Drive performance management through in-flight optimization, campaign analysis, and post campaign insights to inform future strategy.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify and standardize retail media processes.
  • Partner with category management, consumer insights, and retail teams to develop data-driven retail media plans.
  • Leverage post-execution analytics to drive optimization and inform investment strategy.
  • Strengthen the role of analytics in retail media measurement, including providing account-level inputs into marketing mix modeling.
