About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the team as a Retail Manager at various store locations in the surrounding Indianapolis area. The Retail Manager oversees the daily operations of pet stores, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The role includes leading by example and maintaining a positive work environment for employees.

The position uses leadership, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, multitasking, prioritization, inventory management, and customer service skills to manage and motivate employees and provide an exceptional shopping experience. Experience in a pet store retail management environment is described as valuable to the success of the stores.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in retail management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• A passion for caring for animals.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing a large retail store.
• Experience working in a pet store environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
