The analyst works closely with senior position management, accounting, and technology stakeholders to validate position parity and build confidence in migration outcomes.

Requirements

  • Define and maintain certification criteria and acceptance thresholds to validate position parity across accounts, strategies, asset classes, and legal entities.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on position breaks and P&L discrepancies, distinguishing system behavior differences, sourcing gaps, lifecycle timing issues, and data quality failures.
  • Partner with the Position Management Product Owner, Technology, and Accounting teams to resolve upstream data issues affecting reconciliation outcomes.
  • Prepare evidence-based certification and signoff materials for senior stakeholders, auditors, and migration governance forums.
  • Monitor intraday position breaks and end-of-day reconciliation exceptions, escalating material issues and driving timely resolution within defined SLAs.
