About The Position

This role involves coaching and developing a team of over 16 associates, creatively merchandising the sales floor, opening/closing the store, driving results, and actively engaging with customers and associates. The position requires being on the floor approximately 70% of the time to support the team and ensure quality, as well as resolving escalated customer issues with a win/win approach.
Requirements
- 2+ years of retail management experience
- Manage 16+ direct reports while positively engaging associates often
- Maximize, innovate and ensure departments optimally merchandised/organized
- Keep ahead of ever-changing product influx and high customer traffic
- Role model and leader of exceptional customer experience
- Leverage data, e.g., sales reporting, shrink research, retail schedules
Responsibilities
- Coach, inspire, and develop a team of 16+ associate team of Sales Floor Associates, Merchandisers & Price Change Associate
- Creatively build quality displays with your team (no planograms)
- Open/close and drive results storewide engaging with customers & associates
- Be active on the floor 70% of the time to support customers/team and ensure quality
- Resolve escalated customer issues via win/win approach
