Retail Manager
About The Position
Metz Culinary Management is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee operations and employee management in retail food outlets at Niagara University. The role focuses on ensuring amazing food and service in the Café, Food Court, and Grab and Go outlets, with a strong emphasis on hospitality and customer relations. This position requires the ability to manage food quality, customer service, and cash handling, with both front and back of house responsibilities. The Retail Manager may also assume General Manager responsibilities in their absence and will assist with cash control, payroll, and financial/HR functions. This role is ideal for someone with related experience in retail food service management, particularly in contract dining settings.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, use simple math, follow and give oral and written instructions.
- Experience desired in a Contract Dining Food Service setting such as Hospital, School, College, Senior Living or Corporate Dining accounts.
- Requires related experience in retail food service management.
