About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee operations and employee management in retail food outlets, including a Café, Food Court with local and national concept brands, and Grab and Go outlets. The role emphasizes providing amazing food and service with a strong focus on hospitality and customer relations. This position requires the ability to read, write, use simple math, and follow/give oral and written instructions. Experience in contract dining food service settings such as hospitals, schools, colleges, senior living, or corporate dining accounts is desired. The Retail Manager is responsible for maintaining food quality and customer service in a cash-handling retail food operation, with both front and back-of-house duties. This role may involve assuming the General Manager's responsibilities in their absence and assisting with cash control, payroll, financial, and HR functions. Maintaining customer satisfaction and good public relations is crucial. Related experience in retail food service management is required.

Requirements
