About The Position
Join Kwik Trip’s fast-paced Retail Management team for a paid, 12-week, hands-on internship designed to build real-world business and leadership experience. The Retail Management Intern contributes to daily store operations, delivers customer service, helps maintain a high-performing environment, works with team members, prioritizes tasks, and supports store goals. The intern gains leadership experience through team meetings, store audits, and operational and administrative support. With increased experience, the intern takes on additional responsibility, including leading store shifts and making business-focused decisions that affect store success. Internship hours may vary with workload. Students must be willing to work at least 20 hours per week Monday through Sunday during school semesters, and potentially up to 40 hours during school breaks. Kwik Trip offers flexibility with school scheduling.
Requirements
- Actively working toward a two- or four-year degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- High aptitude for learning and performing a variety of tasks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proven ability to work as a team player.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Willingness to work at least 20 hours per week Monday through Sunday during school semesters and potentially up to 40 hours during school breaks.
