About The Position

The Retail Loss Prevention Associate II supports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by carrying out core loss-prevention responsibilities. The role focuses on serving as a visible deterrent to potential loss or dishonesty, wearing a company-approved uniform that includes a body-worn camera, and helping maintain a positive customer shopping experience. The associate partners with store teams and loss prevention, uses sound judgment to protect personal and customer safety and the company’s brand, and follows company policies and values.

The associate maintains a professional presence at the front of the store or in a department, greets customers courteously, and directs requests for assistance to store management or customer service using a company-issued radio. The role also includes observing and reporting suspicious behavior or critical incidents, conducting a closing safety sweep with a member of management, reviewing the Store Emergency Response Guide, and documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to potential loss or dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete company-approved uniform, including a body-worn camera.
• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department.
• Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a company-issued radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
