Retail Loss Prevention Associate II
About The Position
The Retail Loss Prevention Associate II supports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by carrying out core loss-prevention responsibilities, primarily serving as a visible deterrent to potential loss or dishonesty while wearing a body-worn camera. The associate supports a positive customer shopping experience and maintains strong partnerships with store teams and loss prevention. The role requires sound judgment to help ensure personal and customer safety and protect the Company brand, along with adherence to Company policies, culture, and values. Responsibilities include maintaining a professional presence at the front of the store or in a department; greeting and assisting customers; reporting suspicious behavior and critical incidents; performing a closing safety sweep with a member of management; and documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- 0–2 years of retail or security experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management in carrying out core loss-prevention responsibilities.
- Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store.
- Act as a visual deterrent to potential loss or dishonesty.
- Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
- Wear a complete Company-approved uniform, including a body-worn camera.
- Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
- Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department.
- Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company-issued radio.
- Observe and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management.
- Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
- Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
