About The Position

The LEGO Group is seeking a Location Planning Manager to join their global Footprint & Expansion Strategy Team. This role will focus on supporting the expansion of LEGO Brand Retail Stores globally, with an emphasis on the AMS and EMEA regions. The manager will be responsible for establishing market roadmaps, identifying growth and optimization opportunities, and utilizing GIS and analytical skills to shape the company's global store footprint. The position can be based in Copenhagen or Boston and follows a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home per week.

Requirements

Proficiency in location planning techniques, tools, spatial analytics, and statistical methods.
Strong organizational skills.
Understanding of P&L, market dynamics, and consumer trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for analysis.
Ability to integrate, interpret, and present data effectively.
Self-motivation and attention to detail.
Background in retail location planning.
Relevant degree.
Proficiency in QGIS, ArcGIS, Alteryx, and Tableau.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SQL or Python coding.
Familiarity with diverse store formats and segmentations.
Background in global retail or FMCG/CPG.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategic network plans for AMS and EMEA using internal and external data.
Align store expansion strategies with global goals and regional market dynamics.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and transfer assumptions for new store and relocation business cases.
Keep systems and data updated to ensure recommendations reflect current trends.
