About The Position

Sunrise is a customer-first, vertically integrated cannabis company with operations in cultivation, manufacturing, and retail dispensaries. The Retail Lead supports dispensary operations while helping deliver an exceptional, personalized, education-driven customer experience. The role provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to team members, assists with training and onboarding, and supports management in achieving store performance goals and maintaining a positive work environment. The Retail Lead is expected to uphold company procedures, security protocols, and state regulations while maintaining accurate transactions and efficient store operations.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Eligible to obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Identification Card.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Leadership experience in retail or a similar environment.
Cannabis knowledge.

Responsibilities

Deliver a personalized, education-driven experience for each customer.
Maintain strong knowledge of cannabis products, effects, and industry trends.
Accurately process transactions and handle cash according to company procedures.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, security protocols, and company policies.
Support daily dispensary operations, including cleanliness, organization, and workflow.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members during daily operations.
Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding new employees.
Support management in achieving store performance goals and maintaining a positive work environment.
Support team efficiency and customer flow during peak hours.
Meet or exceed individual and store performance expectations.
