About The Position

As a Key Holder, you will play a critical role in driving both operational excellence and elevated customer experience. This position blends inventory control, back-of-house organization, and visual standards with key holder responsibilities, sales support, and floor leadership. You will act as a trusted leader when management is not present, support daily store operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure the sales team is set up for success. Your attention to detail, leadership mindset, and retail expertise will directly impact store performance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of selling or customer service experience
  • 1+ year of retail management experience
  • Must be a sales-driven, goal-oriented individual
  • Must have a positive, high-energy, friendly, outgoing and engaging personality.
  • Must be willing to take the first step to initiate contact with the customers and identify their shopping needs.
  • Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills allowing for effective communication with your customers
  • Must possess computer skills to operate our retail POS system, Word, Excel and email
  • Must be able to lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds when merchandising the sales floor and use ladders or stairs

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and fellow Keyholders to effectively delegate recurring tasks to team members in leadership positions.
  • Ensure all staff stays on tasks and policies/processes are being followed, including personal adherence to policies.
  • Notify upper management in the case a policy/process is broken.
  • Ensure there is an adequate amount of change breakdown in the safe.
  • Maintain a monthly safe log to ensure safe denomination is true and accurate.
  • Upkeep any RTV tasks and communicate directly with the Warehouse Manager as to how/when they will be shipping out.
  • Request product based on in-store trends, from stores, HQ, and/or other facilities, and send to the Store Manager for approval.
  • Ensure all proper Opening/Closing Duties are being followed on a daily basis.
  • When a discrepancy is found during shipment, see it through and make the inventory manager aware if the issue cannot be resolved.
  • When product is found to be defective, ensure the MOD is notified and the issue is seen all the way through.
  • Oversee exchanges/store credit to ensure proper processes/policies are being followed.
  • Ensure exchanges get added to Deposco in a timely manner.
  • Manage back of house and floor space by building sweeps based on low inventory styles and styles older than 90 days with slow sell through.
  • Ensure sweeps are being checked for accuracy before leaving the facility.
  • Ensure proper processes are being followed by management responsible for sending out/closing out invoices properly.
  • Ensure daily shipments are being stocked up in a timely manner and also being done correctly.
  • Ensure apparel collections get steamed in a timely manner and put out on the sales floor.
  • Ensure items are transferred to and from the steam rack.
  • Maintain the store's presentable appearance.
