Retail IT Outsourcing Specialist

As a Retail IT Outsourcing Specialist I, you'll play an important role in supporting Maverik's IT operations by ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time. This role is an important part of keeping Maverik’s IT operations running smoothly by ensuring vendors are paid accurately and processes stay organized. The Specialist will have the opportunity to make a visible impact by supporting technology investments, improving processes, and gaining hands-on experience with IT systems, vendor management, and financial operations.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in a technical role, vendor management, operations management, strategic sourcing or comparable role.
- Proficient in typing and data entry.
Nice To Haves
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Data Science preferred.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (Laserfiche) strong preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately input vendor invoices into the company's accounting system.
- Review and approve invoices meeting established guidelines.
- Utilize Laserfiche software to manage and monitor invoice approvals.
- Validate invoices against purchase orders using ServiceNow.
- Administrative help with Vendor Scorecards and Purchase Orders as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice-related discrepancies.
- Actively contributes to process improvement initiatives.
