Retail Growth and Strategy Manager
About The Position
The Retail Growth and Strategy Manager serves as a strategic advisor to Retail Development leadership, using analytics, financial evaluation, market intelligence, and business insights to identify opportunities, risks, and growth strategies across the Ace retail network. You will turn complex retail, operational, labor, and financial data into clear recommendations that guide investment priorities, network decisions, resource allocation, and long term business strategy. This role partners closely with Retail Development, Retail Operations, Finance, and Retail Analytics to support profitable growth and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience in business analytics, retail strategy, financial analysis, market analysis, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence or reporting tools
- Strong understanding of retail performance measures, market analysis, financial modeling, and business planning
- Executive level communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams without direct authority
- Sound business judgment, curiosity, ownership, and comfort operating in ambiguous situations

Responsibilities
- Lead complex analyses of retail performance, growth opportunities, operational risks, and strategic tradeoffs
- Evaluate store, market, and network performance to recommend opportunities for profitable growth and improved retailer success
- Develop analytical models and decision tools for labor productivity, staffing effectiveness, workforce utilization, and store economics
- Analyze financial and operational results to identify the drivers of store profitability and sustainable growth
- Build business cases and scenario models for strategic initiatives, investments, pilot programs, and resource allocation decisions
- Improve the value of Retail Development analytics by prioritizing work, streamlining reporting, and strengthening decision tools
- Translate complex findings into concise presentations, dashboards, and recommendations that drive leadership action
- Lead cross functional strategic projects and influence outcomes without direct authority
