About The Position

We are seeking a Retail Golf Shop Assistant to enhance the golf experience for the membership and their guests. This position is responsible for assisting our Merchandise Manager in the day-to-day Golf Shop operation with a primary focus on providing exceptional service to the members and their guests. The Retail Golf Shop Assistant is a part-time position that will work no more than 30 hours a week.

Requirements

Must be a team player, service oriented, personable, and enjoy interacting with people.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with members and guests at all times.

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience at a Private Club, Retail, or Assistant/Office Duties is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Greet all members and guests upon arrival in the Golf Shop with a smile and offer them assistance.
Provide exceptional service and hospitality to all members and guests.
Assist the Merchandise Manager with inventory, merchandise display, meeting and communicating with sales reps, and keeping the Golf Shop neat and clean.
Day-to-day operation of the Golf Shop desk, answering the phone, and accurate message taking.
Communicate messages and information to fellow team members.
Have a good working knowledge of our point-of-sale system.
Report to work as assigned neatly dressed and in accordance with Club uniform, grooming and dress policies.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
