Seasonal Retail Fulfillment Support Associate, Bellingham Bellis Fair
About The Position
As a Fulfillment Colleague, you help create a seamless, personalized shopping experience for omni-channel customers. The role combines customer engagement on the sales floor with back-of-house fulfillment work, including selecting merchandise, packing and shipping online orders, and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup. You greet customers, resolve issues professionally, and contribute to sales, customer loyalty, and store operations through attention to detail, teamwork, and operational excellence. The position also includes receiving merchandise, tagging and organizing stock, maintaining the sales floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and supporting merchandise moves. Colleagues share loyalty program benefits, work toward sales goals, complete orders, and organize the stockroom to support the team. Customer service, collaboration, and continuous improvement are central to the role.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Willingness to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Resourcefulness and adaptability to changing priorities, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Select merchandise and pack and ship online orders accurately and with care.
- Assist customers with in-store and curbside pickups.
- Greet customers, listen to their needs, resolve issues, and provide helpful service.
- Receive merchandise, tag items, and organize the stockroom.
- Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, restock merchandise, and support merchandise moves.
- Share loyalty program benefits and acquire new customers by opening credit accounts.
- Work toward daily sales goals and support store results.
- Complete orders and organize the stockroom at the end of the day.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support the team.
