Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Bellingham Bellis Fair
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you help create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready. You provide friendly, approachable service and support your team in achieving sales goals. Colleagues prepare for the day by wearing their name badge, greeting coworkers, ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers, and reviewing goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions. On the sales floor, they welcome customers and build personal conversations. Throughout the day, they recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and communities. They take pride in their work, pursue sales goals, and learn from others to improve individual and store results.
Requirements
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, eager to start a new venture, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently, and effective in team settings.
- Able to use electronic devices.
- Able to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment are required.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and a cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
