About The Position

Field, POS, WorkStations, Smart Lock Access & Network technicians are encouraged to apply. Technicians handle a wide range of installations, repairs, breakfix and upgrades for retail security products, including POS systems, networks, networked devices, access points, routers, switches, RFID smart lock access. They also set up and troubleshoot connections in various environments, connecting devices with physical cables or wireless frequencies to ensure adequate signal strength for clients.

Requirements

• Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
• Previous IT or Related technical technician experience.
• Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
• Possession of a Smart Phone mobile device.
• Flexible availability.
• Travel is required in various markets.
• Ability to lift 60lbs or more.
• Able to climb up and down ladders.
• Over the age of 18.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• POS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform frequent use of hand tools.
• Test networks Wi-Fi signals and perform heat mapping.
• Install and troubleshoot access points, routers, and switches.
