About The Position

Retail Field & or Network technicians handle Project based - implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and or repairing networks/ networked devices such as access point, router, switches, pos systems, WorkStations, printers, modems, Smart Lock Access. MTI / Sempro Tech - Set up and troubleshoot connections in many different environments and connect them with physical cables or wireless frequencies, creating adequate signal strength throughout a location for a client's use.

Requirements

• Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
• Previous IT or Related technical technician experience is required.
• Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
• Flexible availability.
• Frequent use of hand tools.
• Travel is required in various markets.
• Lifting 60lbs or more.
• Able to climb up and down ladders.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Superior knowledge of various networking technologies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Aptitude for customer support.
• Over the age of 18.

• Lock experience very helpful
• Certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and/or repairing networks/ networked devices such as access points, routers, switches, POS systems, WorkStations, printers, modems, Smart Lock Access.
• Set up and troubleshoot connections in various environments.
• Connect devices with physical cables or wireless frequencies.
• Ensure adequate signal strength throughout a location for client use.
• Test networks, Wi-Fi signals, and perform heat mapping.
• Install and troubleshoot access points, routers, and switches.
