Retail- Early Morning truck unload/Stocker
About The Position
This role is responsible for delivering friendly customer service, helping customers shop the store, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Key duties include truck unloading, merchandise stocking, maintaining store recovery standards, and assisting with Omni channel processes. The position also involves participating in stocking and planogram processes, performing store in-stock optimization, supporting safety programs, and adhering to standard operating procedures. Team members are expected to interact respectfully, promote the company's vision and values, and may be cross-trained in Custom Framing.
Requirements
- Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
- Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products and solutions.
- Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards.
- Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
- Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
- Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go-back process and general store recovery.
- Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
- Support shrink and safety programs.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remaining positive and respectful.
- Promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values.
- Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
- Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
- Other duties as assigned.
