Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years experience of a combination of trucking/transportation route planning, supervision, materials movement, or similar required.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all of the aspects of the Retail Transportation System in both Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia by assisting Regional Directors and Store Managers with transportation and distribution of donated and purchased merchandise.
• Insuring proper and timely pick-up and delivery of materials from various Goodwill locations.
• Providing leadership and direction to staff.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote and maintain safety.
• Plan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet transportation, operations and production goals.
• Inspect materials, stock, vehicles, equipment, and/or facilities to ensure that they are safe, free of defects.
• Assist with the hiring, training, evaluation, coaching, and the support of the development of employees in logistics operations.
• Drive vehicles or operate machines and/or equipment to complete work assignments.
• Keep staff informed of all Goodwill initiatives, policy changes and updates and other general company information.
